Our latest update to CMS Commander includes a complete rewrite of the backup and cloning features. The new version works much faster and improves performance by over 50% on most servers in our tests, particularly for larger sites and for sites that include many big media files. No client plugin update or change to your backup tasks is necessary for these improvements to take effect.
