One of the best features of the Content page in CMS Commander is the ability to insert related automatic content into lots of your old posts at the same time.

By using this content insertion you can for example enrich your old posts with related images and videos, monetize them better by adding affiliate products or use any other of the more than 25 sources supported by CMS Commander.

You can find the feature in the “Add Automatic Content” box on the “Content” page but before using it you need to load the articles you want to add content to first.

You can either do that with the Search bar at the top of the page…
or by loading articles from one of your sites with the “Load” icon.
Then just select all the articles of your choice in the list.

Now lets look at the “Add Automatic Content” box. Click the “Show / Hide” link to open it.

First select the content source you want to use. Any source you have set up on the “Choose Sources” screen in CMS Commander will work.

Next you need to decide how to search for related content to insert.
The default choice is to search for the title of each article.
This guarantees the closest matches but for articles with long titles there might not be a result. In that case you can switch to the 2nd choice and provide a keyword to search for yourself.

Click the button to start the search …. and wait for the result box to show up.

Here you can see what content was found for each of the articles.

And for each article you now have the choice if you want to update it with the found result or not. If you do check the checkbox, if not just leave it blank and that result will be ignored.

You can also use the “Select All” box at the top if you want to insert all results into your articles.

Finally you can also choose where to insert the content – either at the end or the beginning of the existing posts.

Once you are done with reviewing just click “Insert Selected”…
… and all the articles get updated with their new content.
