To start using the automatic content features you need to go to the “Choose Sources” page in your CMS Commander account.
On the upper part of that page you can see all the CMS that are supported by CMS Commander and can disable any you dont use on your sites if you want.
This is also where you can activate the “Post via Email” feature to post to blogging services like blogger and wordpress.com
On the lower part you can see the long list of content sources that are available in CMS Commander. Click the links here to order the list by categories or by languages that are supported.
Most of the sources require that you register for an API account with them.
Follow the sign up link to do that and get your API key which you need to enter on the Options page later.
To activate one or several sources simply check them in the list and then press “Save”. I will go with Amazon and Youtube in this example.
There is no limit to the number of sources but since you need an account and some setup for each I would advise you to start with a few and then add more later.
The next and last step is to set up the settings of your sources. For that go to the Options page.
Here you will find one tab for each content source you have activated…
…which contains all available settings for that source.
Youtube is one of the sources that do not require an account and thus can be used right away – but you can still adjust the settings here, for example the language or video size.
Advanced users can also change the templates here to customize how the created content will look.
Lets go to Amazon now, which requires an account. In that case enter your API keys into the fields and then press “Save Options”.
Amazon requires three different keys, for most other sources it is only one.
Each source that requires an account has a verify button which you can click after entering your keys to check if everything works correctly.
If it does the button will be replaced with a verified icon and you are now ready to use this source to create content in CMS Commanders Post Editor and Bulk Content page
