New Feature: Store Your Premium Plugins in CMS Commander For Quick Bulk Installations

Today CMS Commander has been updated with two cool new features, which make both bulk plugin installation and updating as well as website cloning better and easier:

  • When installing a new plugin on the “Plugins” page from your computer you can now choose to upload and store the plugin file in CMS Commander. The file is then added to your list of favorite plugins from which you can quickly access it later, for example when setting up a new website: Once all your plugins are saved as favorites deploying them to your sites is possible with a single click. Please note this feature is at the moment only available to paid subscribers because of the required bandwidth.
  • The same is of course possible with your WordPress themes on the “Themes” page: Store the files in CMS Commander, access them instantly and install them to any number of weblogs at the same time.
  • The “Clone” page has also received an update and now allows you to save your frequently used clone images as favorites. This can be useful and save you time if you regularly clone one of your sites (as a “base site”) over to your newly created blogs.
