The new year is still young but the first update to CMS Commander has already been released as of a few hours ago. This relatively small update is a continuation of our pre-Christmas dashboard overhaul and improves or refines some of the features we added back then.
While this is the first it will not be the last update you will see this January. Bigger things are coming soon, so stay tuned!
Here is a list of all the changes in this update:
- The backlink tracking feature does now report changes in the amount of backlinks your sites have, as reported by SEMrush.com (Where CMS Commander gets its backlink stats from). The data is refreshed automatically every two weeks for your sites and small arrows tell you whether your sites received additional backlinks or lost some. Hover over the field to see the exact breakdown on how your backlinks changed for each site.
- Google Analytics stats in your dashboard do now list total traffic instead of the change percentage. Whether your traffic went up or down is indicated by a small colorful arrow and of course you can still see the exact percentage when hovering over the field.
- The design of the Metrics columns in the dashboard has changed to save space (so we can add other cool stats there later) and be easier to read. The columns have also been reordered.
- The process of adding new sites has been improved: If something goes wrong CMS Commander will now automatically retry several different configurations. This will make adding new sites easier and reduce possible errors.
- Finally, several bugs were squashed and some parts of the dashboard have been recoded to increase performance and loading times.
You can login to your CMS Commander account to see the changes live. If you encounter any problems or notice bugs / display errors with the new version please be sure to contact us!
