You can use the Post Editor page in CMS Commander to write and publish new articles on your websites.

The editor looks similar to the one you are used to from your WordPress admin area in many ways.

The main difference is that you can publish the article you are writing on any number of websites at the same time.
Even to websites that use different CMS, for example you could post to one WordPress blog, one Joomla site and a phpBB forum.

This is done with the “Your Sites” list on the right. You simply select all the websites you want to post to after finishing your article.

Writing is of course straight forward, simply enter your title
and start writing or parse your article content into the editor.

The editor field has all the same controls like in WordPress, including the button to switch from visual to HTML mode.

At the bottom you can find additional settings for category, author, date and so on.
Since you can post to multiple CMS at once there is a tab for each of the CMS.

If you only post to one type of sites though you can ignore all the other tabs. In this tutorial I will focus on the WordPress tab.

First enter your category. If the category you enter does not exist on the sites you post to CMS Commander will create it automatically for you.

All the other fields can actually be left at the default value
or you can customize them,
for example enter another username as author.
If it does not yet exist CMS Commander will also create it.
Date can be used to schedule content and Featured Image URL to specify a thumbnail image for the post. If empty CMS Commander will simply use the first image in your article as the thumbnail.

Also important is the Rewriting tab.
It allows you to rewrite your article while posting and thus
generate a unique version for each of your sites.

With the first setting you can use one of the Rewriting APIs CMS Commander supports for rewriting – for example TheBestSpinner. First you need to activate it on the “Choose Sources” page though.

The second option tells CMS Commander to parse spin tags when posting and with the last one you can strip all links from the article.

Once done don’t forget to check the sites you want to post to and then press “Create Content on selected Sites”
